I've collected a few species from different locations to see if there are differences in growth and blooms. This one was collected in Thailand and has not bloomed for me. The leaves are more pointed than my original coriacea, which is the only one that has bloomed, but in other aspects the plants are identical.

Light, but no sunlight

Likes light but should not be exposed to sunlight. A protected window facing west is good.

Slightly moist

Tolerates some drought but should not be allowed to run completely dry.

Warm

Temperate species. Should not be exposed to draught or temperatures below 17°C. Grows best in an average temperature of 30°C.
