Leaves are short and shubby, like a mix between Hoya bella and christmas tree. Not like the traditional Hoya one expects. Flowers of Hoya engleriana are similar to Hoya bella. Scent is very soft.
In my oppinion Hoya engleriana is a rather dull Hoya. Difficult to cultivate. Prefers a cool and shaded position. Should not run dry. Drops leaves in bundles when unhappy. Slow grower. Should probably be grown in a cool terrarium with high humidity.
![]() | Does not tolerate any sunlight. A window facing north is recomended.. |
![]() | Should not be allowed to go dry. Keep slightly moist at all times. |
![]() | Cool growing species. Tolerates longer periods of temperatures just below 10°C. Does not like to be exposed to temperatures above 25°C for any longer period. |
