Published as Micholitzia obcordata, in N. E. Brown, i Bull. Misc. Inform. Kew. 1909: 358. (1909), but moved to the genus Hoya in 1955, only to be reversed to Micholitzia to later be moved back to Hoya after DNA-analysis... Said to have been published as Hoya lantsangensis as well.

A very slow grower. Flowers similar to those of the genus Dischidia but they say DNA don't lie...

 Variations in Hoya

Should not be exposed to sunlight.. A shaded window facing west or east is good.

Slightly moist

Tolerates some drought but should not be allowed to run completely dry.


Intermediate species. Tolerates short exposure to temperatures no less than 10°C. Best grown in a regular room temperature of 20-25°C.
