Another Hoya I've been waiting for a long time to get. This is the true Hoya griffithii, not the mislabelled one that has been in cirkulation as such for many years.
Hoya griffithii originates from the cool mountain areas of the Himalaya region where it grows at approx 800m altitude.
Leaves are sturdy, approx 15 cm long and 4 cm wide. Dark green and sparsly flecked.
The flowers are large, cream white and has a spicy, cinnamom like scent... or Hyacith depending on your nose...
Should not be exposed to sunlight.. A shaded window facing west or east is good.
Tolerates some drought but should not be allowed to run completely dry.
Cool growing species. Tolerates longer periods of temperatures just below 10°C. Does not like to be exposed to temperatures above 25°C for any longer period.
Flower size: ca 35 mm
Leaf size: ca 40 mm × 150 mm
Scent: Spicy cinnamon
Origin: China, India (Himalaya)
